We appreciate all your support in helping your child with their spelling, as this greatly supports their progress on their spelling journey. 

Children in Year 1 and Year 2 will focus on spelling common exception words. 

Children in Year 3-6 will focus on the use of spelling rules and spellings presented on the year group word lists from the national curriculum. 

These will be updated bi-weekly. Please speak to your child's class teacher for further guidance.
