At Garston, our residential trips are a vital cornerstone of every student's personal development. Stepping outside the familiar classroom environment provides a unique opportunity for young people to discover new strengths, build resilience, and foster deeper, meaningful connections with their peers. Whether they are collaborating to solve outdoor challenges, exploring new environments, or simply taking responsibility for their daily routines away from home, these immersive experiences cultivate independence and boost self-confidence. Ultimately, our residentials develop lifelong teamwork and leadership skills that empower students long after they return to school.

Our Year 2-5 pupils have the opportunity to visit PGL residentials each year, with Year 6 having the opportunity to plan and attend their own residenital to celebrate the end of their time in primary school.
